Copyright, DMCA & Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Arcastash respects intellectual-property rights and is designed only for lawful organization, storage, and conversion of personal or properly licensed media.
1. Acceptable use
Arcastash may not be used or marketed as a third-party content downloader, infringement service, or tool for avoiding another service’s rules. Users must have a lawful right to every item they import and must comply with applicable law, platform terms, and the Polar.sh Acceptable Use Policy.
- Do not import infringing, stolen, private, or unlawfully obtained content.
- Do not bypass DRM, paywalls, authentication, subscriptions, geographic controls, rate limits, or other technical restrictions.
- Do not facilitate infringement, scraping abuse, credential misuse, or unauthorized redistribution.
2. Copyright notices
A copyright owner or authorized agent may send a notice to copyright@arcastash.com with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification and location of the allegedly infringing material; (c) contact information; (d) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and the sender is authorized; and (f) a physical or electronic signature.
3. Response and counter-notices
We may promptly disable access to identified material, preserve necessary records, and notify the affected user. A counter-notice must identify the removed material and its prior location, include the user’s contact information, consent to the applicable court’s jurisdiction where required, and contain a statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, plus a signature. We may restore material when legally permitted.
4. Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances, we terminate users who repeatedly infringe and may restrict users who present a material legal or security risk. False or abusive notices may create legal liability.
5. No legal advice
This policy describes our process and is not legal advice. If you are unsure whether use is authorized or qualifies for a legal exception, consult a qualified professional before importing the media.
